I am a Biker, Artist, Poet, Writer, Freelance Photographer
and when the mood takes me, a Performer.
I am also a sufferer of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Through these pages let me take you on a journey of discovery that will take you inside my life's passions of;
Photography, Bikes, Writing, Poetry, Music and Women.

I am who am I, who else would you have me be?
If I died tomorrow
I hope that what I have done in my life has mattered.
Even if only to one person,
even if only for a moment in time.
I have been called an Enigma and a Lone Wolf.
Most certainly, it can be said that I am a man of many contradictions.
A Biker, Photographer, Artist, Poet, Writer, Father
and Grandfather.
A little more about me;
Photo taken near Byron Bay N.S.W in May 2010
I am a traveler in this life, the open road is my home for I am a Nomad who calls no one place home.
Photography, Writing, Poetry, Music, Women and Bikes are my passions and my life.
My camera is the easel upon which I create my art, my iPad and Laptop are my creative tools. A number of my photographs have been enhanced and digitally altered, however I do not use Photoshop, preferring instead to use a combination of editing tools to achieve unique images. I also run a number of Websites including my main one;
HTTP;//www.stuartmediaservices.com
Quite simply I love what I do.
This passion has only recently been reignited and for that I must thank and publicly acknowledge a number of people, including six absolutely amazing women.
To say that I would not be here but for them, is an understatement.

Five wonderful ladies
*Four of these ladies in particular, are my inspiration and the wind beneath my wings.
Through their generosity of spirit they have taught me to fly once again and I am indebted to each.
* Loretta L
A very talented Photographer, Writer and Editor, who was my Mentor, Editor, Confidant. A truly remarkable and loving woman with a gentle heart and the soul of a poet. A woman who called a spade a spade (and had a no BS approach to my work, so very much kept me on my toes), whose love, emotional support, guidance, patience, advice and encouragement has taken both my Photography and writing to a much higher level.
The love, understanding and encouragement she so freely gave helped to keep my Demons at bay and me out of a very dark place.
* Jen J.
Jen, a World Class Breeder of Whippet Show Dogs, first saw the passion and creativity within me as a small ember, she believed in me and set about encouraging the creativity and passion to grow and burn ever stronger. She enflamed my desire to return to my craft and through her efforts the passion for my art was reignited. A truly beautiful and remarkable woman, with a kind heart and a most gentle soul, to whom I will always be indebted, for the gentle way in which she guided me back to a passion long ago forgotten.
*Dimitra S.
A wonderfully talented Writer, and Skilled Editor , Dim believed in me and through honest feedback, on-going encouragement and advice she not only instilled in me a belief in myself but restored my faith in my abilities both as a writer and a photographer. A true friend and fellow Biker, she continues to be an on-going inspiration to me. She too has the heart and soul of a poet, a kinder and gentler soul you would never meet
*Wendy W.
Another beautiful woman in heart and the soul, she was also there for me when my world was crumbling around me. As with Tracy, I owe a debt of gratitude to Wendy, that I again will never be able to fully repay. She too during a difficult time in her own life, selflessly supported me when I was in the darkest of places filled with sadness and despair. Acceptance and understanding were the gifts she bought into my life. Her level of empathy and an understanding of the sadness and pain that I was feeling was and is truly remarkable. The love, compassion and encouragement she so freely gave helped to guide me back from a very dark place. A true friend and fellow Biker, she also continues to provide love, encouragement, advice and is like the others, an on-going inspiration to me.
A truly remarkable woman with a kind, loving and gentle soul.
You *four ladies hold a special place in my heart, you all have my Love, my devotion, my respect and my heartfelt gratitude for the love that you have given, the support and encouragement that you have provided and for the faith that you have shown in me.
I am very proud and honoured to have you all as my dearest friends.
"Your friend is your needs answered.
He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving.
And he is your board and your fireside.
For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace.
And let your best be for your friend.
If he must know the ebb of your tide, let him know its flood also.
For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill?
Seek him always with hours to live.
For it is his to fill your need, but not your emptiness.
And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures.
For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed."
Mention should also be made of Cindy, a woman who entered my life,
albeit for only a brief period of time.
I made a mistake and fell in love with her, sadly though it was an case of unrequited love, which ended in sadness, tears and heartbreak, as all such one sided loves affairs tend to do. ~
Nonetheless, she was the catalyst for the many changes that were soon to enter my life; a woman who touched my Heart in a way that I have only experienced once before in my life. Cindy taught me to how to love again and inadvertently opened the proverbial "Pandora's Box". By so doing she unleashed a horde of emotions and other energies.
Amongst those were my creativity, passion and the ability to love again.
All of which had long been locked away.
Once released, these caused, amongst other things, much confusion, sadness and ultimately distress in my life.
Sadly, their release came at a high price, in the form of a broken heart and the loss of her friendship, which has saddened me greatly.
It has long been my experience that very few women can handle a man who "wears his Heart on his Sleeve" and even for the damage done to me, by my relationship with her, I am and will always remain indebted to her.
A dedication;
"But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter,
and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love,"
From memory some wit or was it a poet, wrote that it is;
"better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all"...
perhaps that is true, I am still undecided, as the price I paid was a high one.
Through their generosity of spirit they have taught me to fly once again and I am indebted to each.

Then there is my family.
My beautiful daughters Arrianne and Samantha, my Granddaughters Jordyn, Jazmin and Andie, my Grandson Cooper, my sister Colleen, nephews Mathew {Deceased} and Ryan {Deceased 22.12.2013} and Kaye.
They provide the very foundation upon which my world is built and I would be a lesser man if they were not in my life. In so many ways, I am who I am because of their unconditional support and the love that they have bought into my life.

I must also acknowledge the on-going support and open honest feedback provided by my many friends.
Guys and Gals I appreciate your efforts more than words can say...love you all.

My favourite author, poet and philospher ~ Kahlil Gibran
The Prophet ~ on Beauty
by Kahlil Gibran
People of Orphalese, beauty is life when life unveils her holy face.
But you are life and you are the veil.
Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror.
But you are eternity and you are the mirror.
But you are life and you are the veil.
Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror.
But you are eternity and you are the mirror.
The Prophet ~ on Love
When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you.
Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire,
that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.
All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart,
and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.
But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter,
and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.
When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, "I am in the heart of God."
And think not you can direct the course of love,
for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart
and a song of praise upon your lips.
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,

Never look back,
but never forget.
Always forgive,
never regret.
Appreciate what you have today,'
cause it might be gone tomorrow
and you will be filled with sorrow at its loss.
